These terms cover the website. The work we do at your home is governed by the written estimate and invoice you receive for that job.

Estimates and pricing

• Estimates are free and carry no obligation.
• Nothing on this website is an offer, a quote or a guarantee of price or availability. Any figure we discuss before seeing the door is a rough guide only.
• A firm price depends on the actual door, gate, opener, hardware and access at your property. We confirm it in writing before we begin.
• Discounts (including our senior and veteran discounts) apply to qualifying jobs, cannot be combined unless we say so, and should be mentioned when you first contact us. Proof of eligibility may be requested.

Service area and availability

We serve Sacramento and the surrounding area, generally within about 40 minutes' drive. References to "same-day" and "24/7 emergency" service describe what we aim to provide and usually can — they depend on crew availability, weather, parts and how far away you are. They are not a contractual response-time guarantee.

Reviews and testimonials on this site

The customer quotes shown on our home page are illustrative marketing copy reflecting the kind of feedback we receive — they are not verbatim submissions from named customers. Project photos

Photographs in the "Recent Projects" gallery and the before/after comparison are of work completed by AM Local. Every property is different, so your result will not be identical to any photo shown.

Safety warning

Garage doors are heavy and their springs hold extreme tension. A broken torsion spring, cable or bracket can cause serious injury or death if handled without the right training and tools. Do not attempt to repair or force a door with a broken spring, and do not remove or adjust spring hardware yourself. The information on this site is general in nature and is not instruction for performing your own repairs.

Licensing and insurance

AM Local is licensed and insured. We are happy to provide our license and insurance details on request before work begins.

Intellectual property

The AM Local name, logo, page text, photographs and design are owned by us or used with permission. You may view and print pages for your own use in considering our services. Please don't copy, republish or use our photos, logo or copy for your own business without our written permission.

We link to our Facebook and Yelp pages. We do not control those platforms and are not responsible for their content, policies or availability.
